The
1962
Post baseball card set consist of 200 cards that measure approximately
2 1/2" x 3 1/2". Cards are hand cut from the back of
boxes of Post Cereal. The horizontally designed cards
are grouped numerically by team as follows: New York
Yankees (1-13), Detroit (14-26), Baltimore (27-36),
Cleveland (37-45), Chicago White Sox (46-55), Boston
(56-64), Washington (65-73), Los Angeles Angels (74-82),
Minnesota (83-91), Kansas City (92-100), Los Angeles
Dodgers (101-115), Cincinnati (116-130), San Francisco
(131-144), Milwaukee (145-157), St. Louis (158-168),
Pittsburgh (169-181), Chicago Cubs (182-191), and
Philadelphia (192-200). Cards 5B Mickey Mantle, and 6B
Roger Maris were printed on thin stock in a two-card
panel and distributed in a Life magazine promotion
(April 13, 1962 issue). The checklist for this set is
the same as that of 1962 Jello and 1962 Post Canadian,
but those sets are considered separate issues.

Condition is important. Common flaws with baseball cards
