This great looking plastic bust was part of a series of
20 statues issued and sold by Baseball's Hall of
Fame.
It is a replica of the busts used during induction
ceremonies at the Hall of Fame. In 1963 the Hall of fame
commissioned a Long Island based company (Sports Hall
of Fame inc.) to make miniature replicas of 20 of
the existing Hall of fame busts. They were to be sold at
Cooperstown, and at Major League Stadiums. There were
two separate series of 10, with the second series being
slightly more rare than the first. Below
is a complete check list, and estimated price guide
in mint condition. Statues that have yellowed or
discolored are at least half the mint price.
